Employers play a central role in supporting the annual Make IT Happy competition. There are many ways in which your company can get involved this year. If any of the following options interest you, please contact the Make IT Happy team: makeithappy@e-skills.com.
All supporting employers will be acknowledged on the website and in the official Make IT Happy 2010 competition brochure and on the website.
Option 1: Promotion
Promote the competition to schools in your area or to schools that your colleagues have relationships with.
Click here to download the employer promotion pack which includes a schools guide that you can email or print and give to a school and template text for your inclusion on your company's intranet or newsletter, and a template letter to send to schools.
Option 2: Prizes
The winning schools will be invited to an exclusive awards ceremony at the Houses of Parliament where they will be presented with their prize money, a certificate and a goody bag for each teacher and child which are made up entirely of donations from our employer supporters.
If your company has items that could be included in the goody bags, please contact us before the end of September: makeithappy@e-skills.com. All donors will be acknowledged in the official Make IT Happy 2010 competition brochure and on the website.
Option 3: Sponsorship
Sponsorship is a great way to support schools in your local region that have taken part in the Make IT Happy competition. You could contribute to the travel costs to the awards ceremony for the winning school in your region, or sponsor a trip for them on the London Eye to make awards day extra special.
All donors will be acknowledged in the official Make IT Happy 2010 competition brochure and on the website. If you are interested in sponsorship, please contact the Make IT Happy team to discuss your offer: makeithappy@e-skills.com.
Option 4: Judging
We are always interested to hear from people working in the technology industry with a passion for inspiring and actively encouraging positive and creative use of IT in young people.
If you are interested in applying your industry experience and passion and enthusiasm for technology to judging Make IT Happy entries, please get in touch: makeithappy@e-skills.com.
