The theme for 2010 is “Get your community online”.
It’s all about rewarding the good work that primary schools are doing to show their communities how to make use of the exciting possibilities of the internet.
There are regional and national cash prizes up for grabs for the most innovative, community focused IT projects created by 9 to 11 year olds.
How do we enter?
You can enter a project your school is already involved in or has been involved in recently, or start a new project specifically for the Make IT Happy competition.
The entry must show how your pupils have got involved in helping people in their local community get online and learn new computer or internet skills.
What should our entry look like?
The presentation of the entry itself should be pupil led and show creative and innovative use of technology. You could present your entry using:
• A podcast
• A video
• Animation
• A radio show
• A website
• A radio ad
