Winners of the 2010 competition will be awarded cash prizes at the prize giving ceremony in October.
9 winning schools from the English Regions and Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland will be selected and awarded £1,200. From these entries, 3 overall winners will be chosen.
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed schools will be selected from the regional winners and additional prizes will be awarded as follows:
All schools will be notified and invited to a special awards ceremony in October at the Houses of Parliament.
All prizes are generously supported by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Nominet Trust.
'Make IT Happy' called on schools to use technology to describe how they would change an aspect of their local community for the better.
